“Tanum Kirke” is the first stop on September 21st! The church is from around 1100 and is a medieval church located in Bærum, the municipality west of Oslo from where Christine is from.
The church and the area around has throughout times been an inspiration for both local and foreign painters. Harriet Backer, a well loved Norwegian artist painted some of her most famous paintings inside “Tanum kirke”.
Even Monet spent the winter 1885 around the Sandvika area and painted many well known pictures from Bærum.
